The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) consists of more than 300 members across the globe, including World Trade Center – Kansas City. WTC-KC has been in operation since 1990 when the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce acquired the license.
WTC-KC is a one-stop-shop for companies seeking assistance with their international trade needs, whether importing or exporting. We assist both experienced and beginner companies through all stages of the international trade process.
Our services include hosting foreign dignitaries and industry experts to give real-time information on available business opportunities in their respective market or industry. We recently hosted a business roundtable event featuring Abdulrahman Bakir, Vice President of Investment Attraction and Development – U.S. with the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia, who spoke on opportunities in the Kingdom and their Vision 2030 growth strategy.
We leverage the WTCA network to provide in-market assistance for our clients such as B2B meetings, conference and meeting facility access, trade show assistance, business vetting, real estate assistance, and more. Past connections have been made with our counterparts in Canada, China, India, the Netherlands, and Mexico to great success.
We provide customized business consultation to connect businesses with the resources and service providers necessary to achieve their international trade goals. We also offer prospecting data and product-specific import/export regulatory guides so companies can make crucial market decisions. We hold events throughout the year focused on timely trade topics providing companies with the information necessary to succeed globally.
Virtually every country in the world considers the origin of imported goods when determining what duty will be assessed or, in some cases, whether the goods may be legally imported at all. We provide Certificate of Origin (COO) documents which verify the origin of goods being exported.
WTC-KC serves as the EXIM Bank Regional Export Promotion Program (REPP) liaison, World Bank Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO), and the U.S. Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) Making Global Local Partner for the Kansas City region. We serve as a conduit for promotion of the services and resources offered by the aforementioned organizations including export loan assistance, global business opportunities, trade leads, and trade missions. A World Trade Center connects its regional business community to the people, companies, data, and government agencies that make up the fabric of global commerce. Connect with us today and learn how your business can Go Global!
